Sex Ed for all of us: a class series for neurodivergent and disabled adults
Want to learn more about sex and sexuality? Want a safe place to ask any questions you have and get honest, accessible answers? Then this class is for you!
What will we learn?
We’ll explore lots of topics – masturbation, consent, pleasure, healthy relationships, safer sex, how to flirt. And we’ll have lots of time for YOUR questions, so you can learn what YOU want to know!
We’ll learn in lots of different ways—conversations, playing games, watching videos, role plays—because we all learn differently.
And we’ll have time to get to know each other, practicing our social skills and perhaps making some new friends.
Whether you currently choose to have sex, would like to have sex in the future, or don’t plan on having sex (but just want to know more about bodies and feelings—because we all have them!), this class is for you.
When is the class?
The class is four weeks long, meeting on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm starting on June 3 and ending on June 24.
Where is the class?
The class is taught in-person at Jewish Family and Children’s Services in San Francisco. (2150 Post Street)
How much does it cost?
Cost for all four classes is $160. You can pay the fee by credit card or Shauna can bill through SDP if you are enrolled in the Self-Determination Program.
Who is teaching the class?
This class is created and taught by professional sex educator, Shauna Farabaugh, in partnership with Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
